Hey, I just purchased the DP 12 also. The jams on it are outstanding. The Weather Report Suite> Jam on disc 3 is worth the price on the discs' alone. There are two listings of 6/28/74 on the Archive. One has the jam as 'Heaven Help The Fool Jam' and the other is listed as 'Mind Left Body Jam'
I couldn't tell you which one it is, but I do know that is is phenomenal.

As far as Jams that start out and then go into songs. This is the best one I can think of.

There is definitely a Mind Left Body Jam within the Disc 3 Jam. I'm not familiar with the Heaven Help theme so I can't say if that is visited as well.

That second set you recommended looks very interesting, I'll have to check that out.

Don't miss the super beautiful Shakedown>If I Had the World to Give from this show, plus an excellent Playin' in the Band.

Great stuff all around. It's too bad the first set is kind of lost to the sands of time, from what I can hear of the Franklin's it's real good.
